A casting call has gone out to young actors keen to follow in the footsteps of one of the country's budding stars.
Norfolk Youth Music Theatre is searching for teenagers to audition for its production of Les Miserables.
Sam Claflin - one of the stars in the forthcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie and TV drama Any Human Heart - performed in the group's 2005 show.
New auditions are being held in January 2011 for the musical at Norwich Playhouse during Easter.
NYMT artistic director Adrian Connell said: "Audition slots are already filling up, but I am particularly looking for more older teenagers, particularly boys to play the important roles of the student revolutionaries."
Former Costessey High School pupil Sam played the role of student leader Enjolras in NYMT's first production of Les Miserables, to sell-out audiences.
Other members of the 2005 cast have also gone on to perform professionally in Norfolk and across the country.
For the group's latest production, all performers must be aged 19 or under at the start of rehearsals and in full-time education.
Auditions are being held from 5 to 16 January 2011 at Eaton Primary School, Norwich, and all slots must be booked in advance on
the norfolkymt.net website.
