The Battle of the Bangers competition 2009 will feature more than 15 sausages
A celebration of Norfolk's food takes place around the county in the Norfolk Food Festival 2009.
The event, formerly known as the Norwich and Norfolk Food Festival, will celebrate cuisine from the whole county and not just Norwich.
"One of Norfolk's many glories is the quality of the food raised on the land here," said Stephen Fry, patron of the Food Festival.
Events take place around Norfolk from 19 September - 4 October, 2009.
The two week festival will accommodate for the pickiest foodie, with events covering everything from smoked fish to ice cream.
Butchers from all over Norfolk will be competing in the annual Battle of the Bangers competition on Saturday, 4 October, 2009, outside The Forum in Norwich.
You can sample up to 20 different types of sausage and vote for your favourite.
Jellyvision returns once again to the festival as school children, with the help of the Institute of Food Research, compete to build the tallest jelly possible outside The Forum.
Can this year's competitors beat the 2008 winning entry, which measured 37cm tall?

On Tuesday, 29 September, 2009, the annual Movable Feast takes place throughout Norwich city centre.
"The movable feast is a one-off. It's a group of up to 700 people travelling around Norwich having dinner," said Nick D'eath, one of the organisers.
"You have your starter in one restaurant, get up and move onto another where you have your main course and then once again move to another restaurant to have desert," he added.
Diners will eat at one of 20 different restaurants taking part.
"It grows and grows every year - 10 years ago when it started we had about 200 people take part and in 2008, which was the most successful so far, we had around 700 people attend," said Nick.
