BBC Cymru Wales will be at the heart of the hustle and bustle of this year's Royal Welsh Show 2010.

It will keep the nation up to date with all the latest news from the pinnacle of the agricultural calendar which takes place between 19 and 22 July.

Royal Welsh Show 2010 at 1930 BST on BBC Two Wales each evening will take viewers through the day's highlights.

These will include the world shearing and wool handling championships and the show of Welsh cobs.

Royal Welsh regular Sara Edwards will be indulging her love for the countryside, horses and animals by heading up the presenting team in Royal Welsh Show 2010.

Joining her will be Rachael James from Carmarthenshire - presenter of Radio Wales' Country Focus - and Rhys Jones, who viewers will recognise from Iolo's Welsh Safari and Saving Planet Earth.

Builth Wells

Lucy Owen will be at the showground discussing the big issues facing rural Wales in BBC Wales Today, whilst Derek Brockway will present the weather live from the Show every day at 1330 BST and 1830 BST.

There is also extensive radio coverage on both BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru.

Roy Noble will be presenting his BBC Radio Wales programme live from Builth Wells on Wednesday, 21 July and Thursday, 22 July at 1400 BST.

BBC Radio Cymru will help kick start the morning with all the news on Post Cyntaf at 0700 BST.

The lunchtime discussion programme - Taro'r Post will also be broadcasting live from the showground at 1200 BST and a whole host of other programmes will be include coverage from the Royal Welsh Show.

This includes Geraint Lloyd and Nia Mair each evening with all the day's gossip and results from 1830 BST between Monday and Thursday.

"My favourite summer event without a doubt is the Royal Welsh Show," said Geraint Lloyd.

"I have only missed one show since I was born, and for the last 10 years or so I've been able to broadcast live each day from Builth Wells, which is the icing on the cake."
