On Wednesday 2 December, the analogue signal from the Winter Hill transmitter near Bolton will finally be turned off.

The move marks the completion of the Granada region's digital TV switchover, which began on 4 November with the switch off of the BBC Two analogue signal.

It means that, from Wednesday 2 December, you must have either cable, satellite or Freeview to watch any channel on your TV. If you don't, you'll be staring at a blank screen.

If you need help re-tuning your TV or set-top box, please call Digital UK on 08456 505050.

There is also special help available for viewers aged 75+ via the Switchover Help Scheme on 0800 408 7654.

There are advice points being held around the Granada region in November and December.

To find an advice point near to you or see a full list of where they will be held, have a look at the Digital Switchover website.
