Profile: Andy Crane

Andy Crane

Andy Crane broadcasts live from Salford Quays, the new home of BBC Radio Manchester, each Sunday lunchtime (1200-1400).

Heard the one about the musician, politician and comedian? They're all on with Andy each Sunday lunchtime.

He's no stranger to such diversity. This is the man who's performed alongside Heather Stott (Channel M News), Peter Powell (Top of the Pops) and of course, Edd the Duck (The Broom Cupboard).

Best known for his TV perhaps, but radio's always been Andy's first love.

Andy's in a minority at home. He lives with his wife Caroline - and three daughters aged between 11 and 16.
