More than 3,000 primary school pupils from across Greater Manchester have been performing a series of concerts at the Bridgewater Hall with the world famous
Halle Orchestra
(22 & 23 June 2009).
The youngsters are all learning to play an instrument thanks to the Music Services of Manchester, Stockport, Salford and Bolton.
They prepared two pieces in their music lessons including a rendition of Tequila, specially arranged for the occasion.
The 70-minute concerts, each performed by a total of a thousand musicians, young and old, were funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.
