The gamekeeper and the grouse on the Glorious Twelfth

The Glorious Twelfth refers to 12 August - traditionally, the start of the shooting season of the red grouse.

Gamekeeper Fred Mitchinson manages an area of moorland above Glossop for the benefit of both wildlife and the people who use it.

He argues that shooting grouse is good for the bird and good for the Peak District.
