Follow the swallows at Lyme Park

Every spring, a pair of swallows arrives at Lyme Park on the edge of the Peak District to nest and rear their chicks.

The birds travel 6,000 miles all the way from South Africa, surviving predators, tropical storms and the greatest test of endurance - the Sahara Desert.

North West Tonight's nature team has set up a camera on the nest site to follow our swallow family.
