To The Bones say they are "sore from celebrating" the news that they have been picked to play the BBC Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds Festival.
They say that they have "good memories" from attending the Leeds leg of the festival in the past, so are very excited to be playing there.
Their inclusion comes at the end of a successful year for the Bolton rockers.
The last 12 months has also seen the release of their critically acclaimed debut, Duke Type A.

The rock quartet were picked to play the festivals after being nominated by the BBC Manchester Introducing team.
Speaking on the Manchester show, the band said that not only were they looking forward to play, but that they would also be making good use of their "free ticket" and "catching up" with Eagles of Death Metal, who they recently supported at a Brixton Academy show.
Electro indie four piece Everything Everything were also put forward to play and were also picked. They will be playing Reading on Friday 28 August and Leeds on Sunday 30 August.
Both bands' sets at the festival are being recorded for broadcast on the BBC Manchester Introducing show during September.
