Kid British storm Introducing Live
Kid British play BBC Manchester Introducing Live at the Ruby Lounge (26 June)

BBC Manchester Introducing Live at the Ruby Lounge on Friday 26 June saw three brilliant sets by three new bands.

The headliners on the night were Kid British, who delivered a killer set that was lapped up by the capacity crowd.

The band have been getting plenty of interest in their latest single, Our House Is Dadless, which features a sample of Madness' Our House.

The band released the single on Monday 6 July.

Also playing on the night were The Christophers and The Cordels, both of whom are starting to make a name for themselves in and around Manchester.

Openers The Cordels swelled the crowd early on, attracting so much attention there was a queue outside the Ruby Lounge of people wanting to get in for their set.

Main support The Christophers were equally charged up and, despite an early technical problem, produced a great set of dark indie dance.

All the sets on the night were recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio Manchester's Introducing... with Sam Walker, which is on air every Sunday from 10pm to 1am.
