The BBC Big Screen Introducing…
The BBC Big Screen in Exchange Square
The BBC Big Screen in Exchange Square

Making music is one thing, getting it noticed is quite another and increasingly, even the smallest band has a promo video to help them do just that.

Now, there's a chance to get that film seen by hundreds of passing Mancunians.

The BBC Big Screen in Exchange Square now features BBC Manchester Introducing on the Big Screen.

The feature will show promos from the best of Greater Manchester's new musicians - and you can get involved.

We're looking for videos from unsigned acts to play on the screen - any genre will be considered but there are a few guidelines worth bearing in mind.

First, remember it is a public screen, so your promo needs to be acceptable for a family audience - so that's no nudity, bad language, violent images and the like.

Also, it needs to be an actual promo film - live footage can be included in the video but shouldn't be the only thing on offer. We don't expect a big budget production, but the video is there to entertain the public passing by, so needs to have something worth watching in it.

Most computers will open PDF documents automatically, but you may need Adobe Reader

For full details of what we expect and to be considered for a place on the Big Screen, all you need to do is print out the promo agreement, have a read, then fill it in and return it to the following address with a mini DV or DVD of your video:
