Architects Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher discuss their attempt to capture the 'endless flow' of music in their extraordinary chamber music hall in the Manchester Art Gallery.
The pair created the structure specially for the Manchester International Festival to host a series of evening and lunchtime concerts of Johann Sebastian Bach's work.
The hall was built with the intention of creating a near-perfect environment for both the musician and the audience to experience beautiful chamber music.
The concerts take place every lunchtime (except Monday 13 July) and every evening (except Sunday 12) in the Manchester Art Gallery for the remainder of MIF.
