The BBC's Manchester International Festival coverage is available on mobile phones as well as TV, radio, web and the BBC Big Screen.

Between Thursday 2 and Sunday 19 July we'll publish the best festival video, photos and visitor information on a special mobile site.

You'll find a selection of short videos to download and watch, which will include daily news bulletins.

The BBC MIF mobile site is specially optimised for viewing on a mobile.

BBC MIF on your mobile phone

We're making a pick of our interactive coverage available on mobile because we know that you might be visiting Manchester from anywhere in the region, the country or the world and you'll want to find out the latest whilst on the go.

There's photo galleries, interviews and the daily video news bulletin to download and watch, and you can also use the site to check what's on where and to see photos from the festival.

How do you access BBC MIF on your mobile?

There are two ways of accessing MIF on your mobile.

The first way is to text MIF to 81010 and we will send you a text message containing a link to the BBC MIF mobile site (text messages to the BBC cost 10-15p, depending on your network) - don't forget to bookmark the site.

Alternatively, type www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/mif into your mobile phone's browser.

The BBC has a page of Frequently Asked Questions about our mobile services, which give more detailed guidance.
