Keeping crime off the River Thames

These days the river is patrolled by high speed boats, with lifeguards on constant alert. But, not so long ago the Met Police was solely responsible for safety and security on the water.

Francis Richins was posted to the Thames Division in the 1970s, and we invited him back to his old haunts to see what's changed.
