The Big Screen in Walthamstow Town Square shows highlights from some of the BBC's programmes and events as well as films created by local artists.

  • 7 x Goldfrapp Films - Another selection of songs from last year's Electric Proms, this time from Goldfrapp, who performed at Cecil Sharp House. Songs include Ooh La La, Caravan Girl and Happiness.
  • 4 x The Streets Films - Accompanied onstage at London's Roundhouse by The Heritage Orchestra as conducted by Jules Buckley and a gospel choir, Mike Skinner grappled with the big themes including Dry Your Eyes, Heaven for the Weather and Everything is Borrowed.
  • 3 x Leeds Films - from animator Andy Sykes we have 3 contemplative tales from Andy's childhood, told from the point of view of his adult-self.
  • 11 x Burt Bacharach films - Filmed at the Roundhouse for the Electric Proms last year we have a selection of songs from Burt's special performance, including Always Something There to Remind Me, Anyone Who Had a Heart and I'll Never Fall in Love Again.
  • 6 x Saturday Night Fever films - Again, as part of the Electric Proms, Robin Gibb and some very special guests marked the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever hitting the UK charts by performing some classics including How Deep is Your Love, More Than a Woman and You Should Be Dancing.
  • 15 x Hull One Minute Films - Curated by a woman from Hull, these one minute films are from various artists.
  • 6 x films from BBC 21CC - 21CC is the BBC's digital learning centre based in White City and Salford. They explore creative ways of using multimedia and new technology in teaching and learning across the curriculum. We have some of the fruits of their labour here, a couple of films that include a selection of nursery rhymes and 4 films that were made in collaboration with the BBC Poetry Season.
  • 1 X film from Evil Twin Artworks - Prehistoric Pet Shop: Prehistoric Pet Shop is about a caveman whose alarm clock breaks down. But not just any alarm clock - a bird with an unfortunate heart problem. Watch what happens in the hilarious caveman world as he journeys through to get a new one.
  • 6 x films from 6 Music - in April of this year 6 Music did a crawl of Camden. Here we have a selection of songs from Madness who performed a top secret hub session on an open top bus in the middle of Camden. These will be dropped into the playlist individually as well as appearing within curated slots for 2 weeks on Monday to Friday at 1300 and 1700.
  • 3 x films from LOCOG including 'Britain's Olympic Gold' - A film timelining the success of gold medallists throughout the Olympic games with the use of archive footage.
  • Oddbox It's the week's weird and wonderful video stories in Newsbeat's OddBox with Dominic Byrne.

  • Video Nation - Westfield - Developers of the Westfield site at Stratford go out into the community and to local schools to find out what they want for Stratford in 2012 and beyond.

  • Create 17 - Work created by young people age 14 - 19 from across the borough of Waltham Forest at a summer school project run by Apex Arts, August 08. The film was produced by local film maker Ahmed Hussain.
  • Video Nation - Stratford Artist a local artist talks about her experience as an artist working in Stratford near the Olympic site.
  • Savoy Players - HMS Pinafore, short sequence of stills with text taken from their recent production.
  • Faster, Higher (excerpt) Filmed by Waltham Forest based artist . The filming took place in Leyton, at a 'Wushu' martial arts academy.
  • The Feud - Colin Moody. The winning entry to the 2008 East End Film Festival 24 Hour Film Challenge.
  • Video Nation - Location, Location, Location - Relocating his salmon factory to make way for the Olympic site has been worth it, says Lance Forman.
  • Video Nation - 4,000-year-old artefact found - Kieron Tyler gives a series of talks to the public about the amazing findings on the 2012 Olympics site in east London. Kieron Tyler works for MoLAS (the Museum of London Archaeology Service). In partnership with PCA (Pre-Construct Archaeology), MoLAS has been excavating the Olympics site.
