London during The Blitz

Cannot play media. Sorry, this media is not available in your territory.

When Hitler's bombs rained down on London, comedian Roy Hudd was just 4-years-old and was evacuated to Northampton.

Now 70 years later he uncovers some extraordinary stories from people who lived through London's Blitz.

Their tales are emotional, moving and occasionally humorous.

Tales from the Blitz is broadcast on Wednesday 1 September 2010 at 19:30 on BBC One and thereafter on BBC iPlayer.
