Islington company creates robotic helping hands

It's a dangerous and highly skilled job, but soon bomb disposal experts serving in Afghanistan could be helped by a robot created in north London.

The Ministry of Defence has awarded funding to an Islington team, who are developing a robotic hand to help defuse roadside bombs.

Sonja Jessup speaks to Technical Director Rich Walker from the Shadow Robot Company.
