Where are you based?

All over London. Rehearse in a youth centre in Sunningdale, Berkshire. Record in a steam train museum in Norfolk. Met while working at Whipsnade Zoo.

Names of band members and instruments played?

Jake Bowser - keys, vocals; Jamie Dale - bass, vocals; Nicky Francis - drums; Tom Hastings - guitar, keys, vocals; John Herbert - guitar, vocals; Dom Keshavarz - guitar.

How long have you been making music?

Eight months.

Style of music and influences?

Beatles, post-punk, Kinks, The Band, (early) REM, 80s American indie, Tom Waits, Guided By Voices, Elvis Costello.

Best moment so far?

Our debut single on London indie Heron Recordings sold out in a day. Playing Glastonbury was great, too.

What song would you most like to cover?

Already do a pretty good version of 'Clap Hands' by Tom Waits!
