"I never get mobbed in London"

Noel says after 15 years in London he no longer gets mobbed by fans.

He might be Manchester through and through but Oasis guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher has lived in central London for two decades and, as a father of two, his life is pretty quiet and domesticated.

Speaking to BBC London's Jane Witherspoon, Noel discusses his feelings about Oasis's first gigs at the new Wembley and also why he's glad his career took off before the internet explosion.

He says: "Morning Glory was the last big album that came out before the internet took off. I wouldn't fancy being in a band now starting at selling records."

He tells Jane about raising "cockney" kids and why he's made London his permanent home.
