Have you got an object that tells a story about London's history? Maybe a memento of a London event, an item of clothing from an iconic shop, or simply something that reminds you of a family story that deserves a wider audience?

If so, join Robert Elms at the Horniman Museum on Tuesday 16 February for a special programme as part of the BBC's History of the World in 100 Objects.

Robert will be joined by experts from the capital's museums to talk about the artefacts that remind us about our city's amazing history.

Find out what makes an interesting historical object - and what's worth hanging onto now!

Robert also wants to talk about the objects you have that tell a story of London's history.

So, bring along your object, have it photographed, and added to the History of the World website, and if you're lucky, share that story with the man himself!

Don't worry if you're not a techno-wizz, there will be plenty of people on hand to help you out.

Robert will be broadcasting live from midday - 3pm. There will be FREE events and activities for all the family 10.30am - 5.30pm.

Events

Meet Mr Horniman, Discovery for All, Family Art Fun, Nature Explorers, and the new Myths and Monsters exhibition (fee applies).

Venue:

The Horniman Museum is at 100 London Road, London, SE23 3PQ.

Please note, we want to hear your story about your object - this is not an opportunity to have it valued, or historically assessed.
