The O2 Arena should have been hosting the first of those 50 concerts by Michael Jackson by now - if it hadn't been for the star's untimely death in the summer.
But Jackson's fans may still end up making the journey to Greenwich, this time to take in the world premiere of an exhibition containing memorabilia from right through his career.
The show includes the star's personal Rolls Royce, the famous white glove and the Swarovski crystal-studded costumes he would have worn onstage in London.
BBC London's Jane Witherspoon reports, with contributions from curator Bob Santelli and Jackson's friend Miko Brando.
Michael Jackson: The Official Exhibition is at the O2 Bubble from 28 October, open 10am - 8pm daily.
