'We cannot renege on 2012 promise' says Pascoe

An end is in sight for the saga over who will take over the Olympic stadium once the 2012 games finish.

An announcement is expected on 28 January and the two football clubs in the running - West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur - have very different plans.

Olympic medallist Alan Pascoe has said Spurs' bid - which means knocking down the stadium - should not even be considered.
