Air pollution warning for London 2012

Scientists are warning that cars may have to be banned or events moved in London during the 2012 Olympics in order to improve air quality.

The warning comes from King's College researchers who say that if the weather is hot, levels of ozone could affect the performance of athletes.

However, the Mayor's Office and London 2012 says air quality should not affect the smooth running of London's Games.

BBC London's Transport Correspondent Tom Edwards reports.
