BBC London 94.9 devoted two days to exploring some of the key issues and concerns facing residents as they mark 1,000 days until the start of the London 2012 Games.
The programmes broadcast online on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November contained a mix of live and pre-recorded interviews with guests that included established and aspiring athletes, celebrities that hail from the local area and Government and 2012 officials.
We also heard contributions from local people, both young and old, that live and work in the area providing a platform for them to voice their opinions and debate any issues surround the Games and its legacy.
