Kerry Cox from Louth caught the Mini bug after spotting a convoy of Minis while out driving with her husband.

"I fancy doing that", said Kerry, and that was the beginning of Kerry's Mini adventure.

She bought a 1964 automatic with a 1000 cc engine. The car was around 75% rust and was in desperate need of some TLC.

But, with the help of Husband Karl the Mini has now been restored and is now a gleaming example of the iconic car from the 60s.

Kerry's Mini features a checkered roof, colour coded interior and a lucky number 19 on the driver's door. She is so obsessed with the classic small car that she has started a club dedicated to Mini owners in Lincolnshire. The club is called Lincs Mini Chaos Club and started as a result of Kerry meeting other Mini enthusiasts on the internet.

Kerry's most embarrassing moment

Founder of the club Kerry Cox is also known as 'The Mistress'. BBC Radio Lincolnshire presenter Melvyn Prior asked Kerry why she had been given this name when she appeared on his afternoon show. Kerry said: "It was supposed to be a private joke between members of the club", and was mortified that someone had tipped him off.
