Lincoln's Street Pastors making a difference

On patrol
Street Pastors

The Lincoln Street Pastors have been patrolling the city since October 2007, helping people who may have got into difficulty.

The volunteer workers are part of a national organisation that helps the homeless and looks after people who may have drunk too much on a night out.

Since it's beginning in 2003 Street Pastors has grown rapidly. There are now well over 100 Street Pastor projects around the United Kingdom, and several further afield.

The Lincoln group has around 42 pastors who share patrolling duties.

They go out each weekend, starting at 10pm and working until the early hours of the morning. To find out more, or if you would like to volunteer, visit: Street Pastors
