Pupils from the King Edward school in Louth are taking part in a mock trial at the Magistrates' Court in Lincoln to learn more about the legal system.
It's all part of a national competition where the students will be competing against other county schools in the regional heats this weekend.
Their teacher, Schkela Rie, said the students are feeling confident: "They're very enthusiastic and lots of them wanted to do it. They've been so committed. Coming in at lunchtimes, working at home with their parents and with each other.
"The competition involves a number of schools from Lincolnshire competing at local courts. What will happen is that our defence team will defend our victim against a prosecuting team from another school."
