Hundreds of Elvis impersonators from all over the country could descend on Lincoln over the next few months.

It's all part of potentially winning a five year contract and a trip to Vegas if they're picked as the Lincoln branch of the Official Elvis Presley Fan Club's new impersonator.

Terry Malson from the club explained how the idea began: "This idea started with myself and Steve Whyte, he's the proprietor of the Jailhouse Rock Bar in Lincoln. It's a great opportunity for young singers, male or female.

"We hope we are going to find one to represent the Lincolnshire branch of the Official Elvis Presley Fan Club."

The auditions will be held in Lincoln at the Jailhouse Rock Bar from April until November with the final in December.
