Lincolnshire's oldest barmaid?

A Lincolnshire woman, thought to be the county's oldest and longest-serving barmaid, is intending to continue pulling pints for many years to come.

Joyce Leyshon from Lincoln, who turns 88 in January, has been pulling pints in various pubs in the city for more than 30 years.

As well as her experience behind the bar she has a lot to talk to regulars about as she spent time with the Wrens, ran a nightclub in Cyprus and has survived breast cancer.

Mrs Leyshon, who now works in the Crown Inn in Lincoln, says she likes the company and meeting so many people helps keep her young.

Over the years she has worked at The Green Dragon, Hare and Hounds and the Duke of Wellington. She has been at the Crown for seven years.
