Cops with cameras in Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire Police have successfully trialled the use of body-cameras in Skegness, Boston, Louth and Horncastle.

The cameras have already been used in other parts of the country to gather evidence and help to reduce incidents of violent crime.

PCSO Michelle Collins has been taking part in the trial. She told Look North's Emma Massey: "It helps to prove what you are doing on a day to day basis."

Inspector Terry Ball from the force said: "We are not doing anything sneaky, it's completely upfront and is intended to act as a deterrent and to be used to record any incident that an officer might use a notebook for."
