Sutton on Sea evacuation exercise

BBC Look North reports on Exercise Watermark in Sutton on Sea.

The biggest emergency exercise that's ever been undertaken in Lincolnshire came to a climax today.

In Sutton on Sea a school was evacuated, people left their homes and police knocked on people's doors to warn them of major flooding.

This was all part of Exercise Watermark, a national exercise to simulate what would happen if our sea defences on the county's coast failed.

As part of the exercise what happens in the county could help shape future plans for dealing with major flooding nationwide.
