People from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland have helped celebrate the county's sporting achievements by sharing their memories.
Fans of yesteryear brought their sporting mementos to BBC Leicester's special event at
Curve
on 21 February 2011, and had their memorabilia and story recorded to a national online database.
The event was tied to 'Our Sporting Life' exhibition, at Curve until 11 March 2011, which highlights some of the ways sport has shaped the county, its communities and people.
