A Leicester surgeon has been taking medical staff from the East Midlands to help hundreds of children and babies in India.

Dr Sanjiv Nichani, founder of the charity Healing Little Hearts, travels to Mumbai's Holy Family Hospital every two months.

During their visit the medical staff perform around 10 operations on children who otherwise may not have a chance.

BBC Leicester's Sumeer Kalyani travelled to the capital city to watch Dr Nichani and his team at work.
