Sarah Bedford lives at number 3 Hawthorne Street in Leicester. She is taking part in the BBC Leicester project called The Street.
BBC Leicester presenter Tony Wadsworth launched the project after 'adopting' the street in Newfoundpool - the area where he grew up as a child.
The Street project takes a closer look at the lives behind closed doors and the community that is shared.
Sarah is 20 years-old and lives with her three year-old daughter Lily-May.

Full-time mother Sarah and Lily-May moved to Hawthorne Street in November 2009.
Sarah fell pregnant at a young age and is is a single parent.
She is no longer with Lily-Mays father, but her new partner Dale, is very supportive of them.
Sarah chooses not to live with Dale as she prefers her independence.
The young mother of one has lived in different areas of Leicester but has loves living on Hawthorne Street.
She strongly believes that more need to be done to accommodate the youth in the area to keep them out of trouble and to cut crime.
