Geoff and Carol, both 63 years-old, have been living at the house for 44 years
Mr and Mrs Connolly, who live at number 88 Hawthorne Street in Leicester, take part in the project called The Street.
BBC Leicester's Tony Wadsworth launched the project after 'adopting' the street in Newfoundpool - the area where he grew up as a child.
The Street project takes a closer look at the lives behind closed doors and the community that is shared.
Geoff and Carol, both 63 years-old, have been living at the house for 44 years.
Revving motor-bike fanatic
Geoff Connolly loves his motorbikes and has been riding them since he was 15 years-old.
Ever since he has been able to ride one, he has always owned a bike.
Meet the Connolly family
Geoff and Carol moved to 88 Hawthorne Street because Carols's sister, Pat lived next door at number 86, but she has since moved to Austrailia.
The married couple have three children, Leanne, Neal and Sharon.
Twenty-three year-old daughter Leanne lives with her father and mother, while Neal and Sharon live nearby.
Husband Geoff is now retired, but enjoyed working at Inglehurst School as a caretaker.
Carol was born at 99 Hawthorne Street and lived there until she married Geoff and moved across the road.
She currently works part-time at a children's home and enjoys looking after her allotment in her spare time.
Leanne works at a retail park in Leicestershire, but used to dance with the Ann Oliver Group until she had an accident on a moped.
