BBC Introducing: get in contact

Whether acoustic or rock, we want to hear from you!

We know it's hard for unsigned bands to get the exposure they need, so were giving you the chance to get your music featured on the BBC Leicester website.

This is all part of the huge umbrella that is BBC Introducing - supporting unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar music.

By getting in contact there is a chance you might end up on top radio show The Beat.

We'd love to hear from you. So, what are you waiting for?

What we need

First, fill out the form at the bottom of this page or send us an email at [e-mail]

Be sure to include the name of the band or artist, a contact number and a brief biography.

Let us know how you formed, where you are based, what your influences are and any crucial quirky facts!

If you have a website, MySpace address or online videos of a performance, then post the web addresses in too.

Wait for a response

Next, we will get in touch with you and ask you to fill in an email questionnaire on everything from your best and worst gigs, to whether you prefer Red Leicester cheese or Melton Mowbray pork pies.

We will also need a demo of at least three of your best tracks, ideally emailed to us in wav format, and confirmation from you that it is okay to use them on the site, although they will not be available to download.

Finally, we would like three or four photographs of the band to add a bit of colour to the feature
