Children in Need: Paris to Blackpool cycle challenge

Graham Liver
"I've made it!" Graham celebrates with a well deserved glass of bubbly

Didn't he do well? BBC Radio Lancashire's breakfast presenter Graham Liver got on his bike for Children in Need - and cycled 500 miles in a week from the Eiffel Tower in Paris to Blackpool Tower.

Graham set off from the French capital on Friday 1 October, in early morning rush hour traffic, and admitted he was "very, very nervous".

He may have had second thoughts with the torrential rain in France but he battled on... and he did it, arriving to a hero's welcome at 3.30pm on Thursday 7 October at Blackpool's North Pier.

Despite the gruelling schedule, Graham still got up at 4.00am to present his Breakfast Show and broadcast regular updates through the week.
