School Report: Burnley pupils interview Huw Edwards
As a former teacher, Huw Edwards is working on School Report
On 11 March, schools across the country will be taking part in the annual BBC School Report News Day.
They will be creating video, audio and text-based news reports, and publishing them on their school's website.
As part of the News Day, students from St John Fisher and St Thomas More Catholic Humanities College in Colne got to interview BBC News presenter Huw Edwards.
They were one of only six schools in the UK to get to interview him.
BBC News School Report gives 11-14 year-old students in the UK the chance to make their own news reports for a real audience.
Using lesson plans and materials from the BBC website, and with support from BBC staff, teachers help students develop their journalistic skills to become School Reporters.
