As Strictly Come Dancing prepares to waltz its way to Blackpool, fans are being given the chance to win tickets by taking part in a special dance extravaganza! BBC Radio Lancashire is holding a series of five sparkly dance events, where you can come along and learn dance moves with a pro! Everyone who registers will be entered into a draw to win a pair of tickets to see Strictly Come Dancing in Blackpool. And it's all free! The first dance event is on Monday 2 November at West View Leisure Centre in Preston, where John 'Gilly' Gillmore and Carole Turner will be shimmying their way along to broadcast from the event as well as learn the dance moves themselves. (Good luck trying to teach Gilly! - Ed). TV cameras from North West Tonight will also be there to capture the twinkling toes, with presenter Ranvir Singh quick stepping it from the studio to join in and jazz things up. Clips from the event will be shown on the programme that night. We'll also be publishing video on our glitzy
Facebook
page. Gilly says: "I have never danced before so this will be an interesting experience for me not least because I will be doing it live on air. It's going to be brilliant fun and even people who have never danced before should come along and try it, because let's face it, no-one can be worse than me!"
