Blackburn will play host to a Christmas Arts Market this November.

The market will showcase the creativity of artists working in ceramics, sculpture, painting, printmaking, textiles, photography, contemporary crafts and jewellery.

It is the second arts market to be held in Blackburn and will run alongside the three day market on 18, 20 and 21 November.

There will also be craft and knitting demonstrations.

Portraits

The market will see contemporary crochet being sold alongside courgettes and felt creations next to fishnets. A local artist will also be drawing cartoon portraits of shoppers.

The Christmas market follows the success of the first arts market, which took place in the summer and attracted shoppers from all around the region.

It not only supports local artists and crafts people but shows just some of Lancashire's creative talent.

Any contemporary crafters or artists interested in having a stall at the market can email Asifa Satvilker or call 01254 585357.
