In pictures: Circus thrills in Leyland

Kristin is a member of the Flying Bull Dancers, and has previously worked as an aircraft technician with the US Air Force, then in a brewery and a Hollywood stunt girl!
Australian trapeze artiste Jo used to work as a sound engineer with TV and film companies, before having a go on an outdoor flying trapeze in Sydney. She now performs double somersaults at the circus
Alina Eskina's 'cube' routine is unique. Beautifully choreographed, as she moves from circus ring to air and back. Her grandparents and parents performed high above the circus ring, and taught Alina their skills. But they also taught her to be original
Ross Presto’s glamorous assistants come and go, appear and disappear at his command. Ross has been performing illusion and magic since he was 8 eight years old when he performed simple tricks in the front room for his family
Gordon Marquez's ancestors have performed every type of circus skill, including trapeze, acrobatics and animal training
The Netherlands National Circus is on from Tuesday 15 September to Sunday 20 September 2009, with tickets available by calling 0870 444 1505
