Bloodrunners seek more volunteers to expand service

Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers (SERV) are looking for more recruits as hospitals ask them to expand their service.

SERV deliver vital blood products and equipment to Kent hospitals between 7pm and 7am free of charge, saving the NHS tens of thousands of pounds a year.

Currently, there is network of 60 SERV motorcyclists across Kent. They need 20 more volunteers to make their service available around the clock.
