At the end of Palace Street in Canterbury is a remarkable building with a rather alarming lean. How is it still standing?

Nestled in the beautiful Darent Valley is Lullingstone one of the most outstanding surviving Roman villas in Britain.

During the Battle of Britain between July and October 1940 there were many air raids in Maidstone. They claimed 53 lives.
