Terry Laslett, 66, from Kent, is one of the 9.2m adults in the UK that are not online.

"I would say my computer ability is next to nil and that is bad. I've got to learn to be on the net, otherwise I'm going to get further and further behind."

To find a beginner's course to computers and the internet near you, call the free BBC First Click advice line on 08000 150 950.
