The students will face Dragon's Den style challenges
|
Jersey is joining more than 60 countries worldwide in helping young islanders learn about business and develop their entrepreneurial skills. It's the second year the island has taken part in the Global Entrepreneurship Week for schools. Enterprise week will see pupils from secondary schools taking part in a variety of events to help them understand issues facing businesses. The week was set up by the charity 'Make your Mark'. The event was originally started in the UK and now backed across the globe to promote entrepreneurship. The activities include Dragons' Den Style challenges, solving environmental problems and marketing a Christmas fayre. Volunteers from local businesses will act as mentors providing professional advice and judging student's efforts.
