Overseas call for Jersey Marathon

Marathon organisers hope to attract more overseas runners

Organisers of the Jersey Marathon are planning to invest in marketing the event overseas in the hope of attracting more European runners.

The Race Director, Helen Baker from organisers Standard Chartered says there are still more opportunities to attract athletes from overseas.

She hopes direct air links from Paris, Geneva and Zurich will help with this.

The date for next year's event has now been set as Sunday 3rd October and online entry is now available.

Entry prices are the same as they were this year. To encourage people to enter sooner rather than later the cost is cheaper the earlier you enter.
