Kate Nash will perform before Paul Weller on Sunday 5 September 2010
Platinum selling singer-songwriter Kate Nash has been confirmed for Jersey Live 2010 on Sunday night.
The Brit Award winning artist will perform before 'mod-father' Paul Weller on the festival's main stage at the RJA&HS Showground in Trinity.
Tickets for the event, now in its seventh year are on sale from Saturday 1 May on the Jersey Live website.
Organisers also confirmed the return of a second stage, called the MAGIC tent hosted by French magazine, Les Inrocks.
Acts confirmed for the MAGIC tent so far include BBC Introducing supported psychedelic alt-folk act Muchuu, and Brooklyn-based Here We Go Magic.
They will be joined by French prog rock and hip hop group Cabadzi, a group spotted by Jersey Live organisers, Warren Holt and Warren Le Sueur at French music festival Printemps de Bourges.
In addition to the acts already announced for the Dance Arena organisers have confirmed French dance duo Teenage Bad Girl for Saturday 4 September.
More acts are expected to be announced soon running across the festivals five stages.
Festival co-director Warren Le Sueur said this year was expected to be bigger then ever.
"Last year's festival was our biggest and best ever. We're expecting this year to be even bigger, with some huge names already confirmed and a lot more exciting acts to be announced," said Warren.
Tickets are £84 for a weekend pass or £54 for a single day. Under 13s pay £10 for a weekend or £5 for a single day and are on sale from Saturday 1 May on the Jersey Live website.
