Scottish songbird fly’s to Jersey

Jill Jackson will play the Blue Note Bar in St Helier

Former Speedway front woman, Jill Jackson, will be coming to Jersey on Saturday 7 November to play the Blue Note Bar in St Helier.

The singer songwriter, known as the 'Scottish Songbird' plays her own unique style of Americana.

Her solo music is far removed from the music she made while in Speedway where she had two top ten hits in 2004.

Jill has toured with Natalie Imbruglia and supported musicians like Albert Lee, Roger McGuinn and Bryan Adams.

She has a voice you won't forget, a rock chick that's rising through the ranks of the new country scene - she has been gigging and recording as a solo artists since 2005.

Jill will be supported in the all acoustic gig at the Blue Note Bar in St Helier by Jersey singer songwriter Stephanie Manns.

The gig will kick off at 21:00 at the Blue Note Bar and tickets are £10 from Blue Note Bar itself.
