Roy Hudd has been in show business for 50 years and has appeared in 'The Roy Hudd Show' on TV and 'The News Huddlines' on radio.
He's been a straight actor, appeared in pantomime and as the undertaker Archie Shuttleworth in Coronation Street.
Roy began as a Butlin's Redcoat and has worked with Tommy Cooper, Morecambe and Wise and Tony Hancock.
He has never done a season in Jersey but described the island as one of his favourite places to visit.
"Jersey is very important to me, I spent my honeymoon in Jersey and it was lovely. A honeymoon spent anywhere would be lovely but especially Jersey.
"We got there and stayed in a very posh hotel, beautiful room and everything but when we went to eat you expected Christopher Lee to come in any moment.
"It was like a scene from Dracula, it was tall chairs with spiky backs and everything, it was very busy but nobody spoke," said Roy.
