Depending on your festive spirit, the knowledge that there are now less than 11 weeks to Christmas will either feel you with yuletide delight, or Santa screaming horror. With just 11 weeks to go a number of shops have already started putting out the advent calendars and cards. We've heard tales of tinsel in town and whispers of wrapping around. But is it to early to be showing festive cheer? To be buying presents, paper and Christmas trees? We want you to share your first sightings of Christmas in Jersey's shops, businesses and public places. Do you buy your presents throughout the year or do you leave it until the last minute? Does it bother you that some shops start preparing for Christmas before Halloween? Use the form below too tell us if you've spotted Christmas decorations, advent calendars, cards or anything Christmas related on sale in Jersey.

Tigger It may be difficult to believe but the Parish of St.Helier has started to put up Christmas Decorations above the streets!! Sarah Well the st helier lights have gone up, boots, pound shops, marks and spencers and bhs have their christmas gifts in and ive done 90% of my christmas shopping now Tigger Far too many restaurants advertising 'book now for Christmas'! I hope that they are aware that for some of us this is a total turn off and I will avoid them all year round!! Even worse, I suspect that, if I did try to book for Christmas (25/12/2009 to 06/01/2010) they would tell me that their Christmas menus had finished! Katie I am a person who lives it till last minute but it doesn't shock me that people like to be organised and get their presents bought early, especially with the credit crunch going on at the moment. My mum starts buying presents in the January sales so I don't think anyone can beat that!!!! I have spotted christmas decorations in a few shops including the 99p shops, and card shops around town. Not to mention they have started putting up the christmas lights in town too.
